Russian Constructivism
During the Russian's October Revolution in 1917 , just as the Bolsheviks came to power , Constructivism was born. The Art movement is influenced by Cubism and Futurism with an abstract approach with composition and construction.
This movement formed to functional , anti-historical using geometric designs combined with photographic images. Many Russian Constructivists were involved in architecture, interior and fashion design, ceramics , typography and graphics.

El Lissitzky , Beat The Whites With The Red Wedge , 1919
Most recognizable signs to Russian Constructivism is the artwork "Beat the whites with the red wedge" , many other artworks resembles the iconic piece with an arrow pointing towards a spot and a large contrast in background. The main colours are red with white and black which makes the red stand out . a few scattered words are placed to solidify the rebellion that started in the Russian Revolution with propaganda.
Krislam Chin , Constructivism Report , 2015
Krislam created this artwork for a report on constructivism . this shows the same iconic ques of an constructivism art piece , the colours are red , black and white . there is the arrow that points towards an item , in this case it is the word 'RAWR' and the hand that points towards the cat , then there is also a photographic image which is of a cat .
